IPL 2021 Dates & Schedule updates
A little more and one of the most grandiose events will begin. It is recognized as large-scale not only in India but in everything. Guess what this is about? Of course about the Indian Premier League!
The official representatives of the 14th season of the IPL announced the start date of the tournament and announced the approximate schedule of matches. Until March 8th, these dates must be confirmed or refuted.
And so, BCCI and IPL officials and managers said that the approximate start of the season falls on April 11th. Exactly two weeks after the teams finish their matches with England. According to preliminary information, 60 daily matches will be held. Then there will be the semi-finals and the final, the dates of which are still behind the curtain of obscurity.
From what we know for sure, it is that eight of the strongest cricket teams will take part in the tournament and that each of them is unique!
Every dedicated fan should be aware of all the details regarding the matches of their favorite team, and we have collected all the information regarding who will open and close the season and what are the chances of each team.
Perhaps the most striking will be the opening of the 14th season since the first match will be between the six-time winner – Mumbai Indians, and the team that has never won the League yet but the new team’s squad is promising – Delhi Capitals. And although the DC will be located on the territory of the opponent, the fans will be able to support them both by their presence at the stadium and during the online broadcasting on YouTube or the official website of the IPL 2021. This grandiose meeting will take place on April 11, at 7:30 PM.
The next day, April 12, the Delhi Capitals will face off against the Punjab Kings at their home stadium. PBKS fans will need to buy tickets to Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium to cheer on their favorites. Perhaps the kings have an advantage since the opponent will be tired after the previous match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad supporters have reason to be a little worried. On April 13th, they enter the stadium against some of the most promising teams of the season, the Royal Challengers Bangalore. But thanks to the game with the support of their fans on R.G.I. Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, SRH’s chances of winning are steadily increasing!
And on April 14, there will be a mega-fight between the Rajasthan Royals and the three-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings. This game will be exciting because the fight will be between potential winners and IPL record holders! RR will need to gather all his power in a fist because CSK has never missed a place in the playoffs in the history of all seasons. The fight will take place at the Rajasthan Royals’ home territory – Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
On April 15, the Kolkata Knight Riders will play on their territory at the Eden Gardens Stadium. And although the rivals will be the strongest Mumbai Indians, thanks to the massive support of local KKR fans, the team has a great chance of winning this game.
From 26 to 30 May, the final matches will be held, according to the results of which the names of the teams that enter the semifinals and finals will be known!
We invite you to familiarize yourself with the schedule of these matches and the venue.
